A recent expansion in the scope of CAF-FCA’s operations has created the need for additional staff.
Under the direction of the Executive Director, you will be involved with the overall planning, organization, execution and control of various projects. In addition, you will be leading the Board of Director’s Forum Business Line and will conduct relevant research when required.
Your first project will be co-ordinating and gathering relevant information for a national workshop. Experience in event co-ordination is desired.
This position will require a wide range of qualifications and attributes including:
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to give presentations to diverse audiences.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, with solid attention to detail and compliance with timelines.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-partite environment and with a diverse Steering Committee.
- Ability to work effectively with and to coordinate the efforts of external consultants and service providers.
Additionally:
- Understanding and appreciation of the role of apprenticeship training and skilled trades occupations within the Canadian labour market.
- Bilingual capabilities (verbal and written).

The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum – Forum canadien sur l’apprentissage (CAF-FCA) is a not-for-profit organization. It is a unique partnership bringing together the key stakeholders that make up the Canadian apprenticeship community. The organization’s objectives include promoting the apprenticeship training system as a valuable contributor to Canada’s skilled workforce and providing a venue for the stakeholders to support the apprenticeship training systems across the country.
