The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum-Forum canadien sur l’apprentissage (CAF-FCA) is the inclusive national body that brings together all players in apprenticeship training. It is a national not-for-profit organization, funded through the federal government’s Sector Council Program, (SCP). The Forum is well-established and has achieved significant success in developing research, guidance and solutions to support challenges being faced by the Canadian Apprenticeship Community.

CAF-FCA works under the direction of a Board of Directors, representing every aspect of the apprenticeship community. Its’ work has brought to light a number of key issues that affect apprenticeship training - such as perceived barriers to training; the business case for apprenticeship; and the importance of promoting apprenticeship training as a valued and respected choice for post-secondary education.

The Forum is involved in research and activities across Canada, and is well known for its’ biennial conferences, research and a national campaign - Skilled Trades, A Career You Can Build On.

VISION

MISSION

To influence pan-Canadian apprenticeship strategies through research, discussion and collaboration with the apprenticeship community.
