Join the Board of Directors of the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum for a unique international dialogue with key apprenticeship stakeholders and other international guests. This will be a great way to kick off the 1st day of WorldSkills 2009.
Bruce Sellery, respected business journalist and host of “Workopolis TV” will lead a discussion and explore what works in apprenticeship training from a global perspective. Panelists from the U.K., New Zealand, South Africa and Canada will share their insights into their respective countries’ efforts and initiatives on best practices for employer engagement strategies, effective incentives to encourage apprenticeship training and return on training investment studies.
Take advantage of this unique information-sharing and networking opportunity. It promises to be an exciting beginning to the week-long events.
Special thanks to the Government of Alberta, the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission, and SAIT for their support of this dialogue.
The Dialogue will be conducted in English with simultaneous French translation, and will be recorded and posted on the CAF-FCA website. For directions to SAIT, click here.
