Apprenticeship in a Global Perspective: Engaging Employers and Investing in Apprenticeship Training

The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum kicked off the first day of international Competition at WorldSkills Calgary 2009 with a unique international dialogue called Apprenticeship in a Global Perspective: Engaging Employers and Investing in Apprenticeship Training. International representatives, Canadian apprenticeship stakeholders and the CAF-FCA Board of Directors learned much from the guest speakers who shared perspectives from the U.K., New Zealand, South Africa and Canada. Facilitated by Bruce Sellery, respected business journalist and host of workopolis tv, the session was held at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Polytechnic in Calgary, Alberta.
