Public Sector Dialogue Sessions

All employers, including the public sector, are going to face a skills crunch as baby boomers retire. Apprenticeship training can help employers grow the talent they need for the future. In order to learn more about apprenticeship, public sector employers told us they wanted to discuss the advantages of apprenticeship and the experiences of other organizations who include apprenticeship as a part of their long term human resource planning. To meet this need, dialogue sessions with public sector employers are being planned. A report summarizing the findings will be produced.

We are looking for public sector participants and hosts for our dialogue sessions if you are interested in participating in this project. Employers at the municipal, provincial, federal level, crown agencies, hospitals, and schools are all welcome to participate.
